Wednesday my pastor spoke to us about the value of a soul. What are we willing to do to snatch them from the fire? As I was doing some research I came across this video of Leonard Ravenhill. I hope that it will inspire you to either share your faith or get saved. God Bless.

This is so true. How many people do you know that think that they are saved but are actually dying and going to hell… Is it our fault or do you think that it could be predestined whether you go to heaven or hell???

Do you mean that no matter what you do God has already decided who will go to heaven and hell? If you do, I think that only applies to satan, the antichrist, his false prophet, and all of the fallen angels. Everyone else in the past, present, and future have a choice. I believe that God knows who will go where, but does not manipulate our choice.
We have all sinned. If we die in our sins we will go to hell when we die. God does not want anyone to perish, but that all men will come to repentance. He has given His Son as a sacrifice for the payment for that which we deserve. The bible says that once you are saved He gives you new desires. He makes you a new creation. You want to do those things He wants you to do. It doesn’t mean you are perfect. But when we do sin, we have an advocate to the Father through Jesus Christ.
I don’t know if I answered your question or not. Maybe some of the other readers have some insight on this.
God bless.

We all have sin, true, but just maybe God has predestined that a certain few do come into repentance. Im not saying that you can do whatever you want to but maybe the “certain few” are the ones that do follow the WAY of salvation…
Rom.8
[29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
[30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Eph.1
[5] Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
[11] In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Hey, I don’t believe that there are certain few that are predestined to follow the way of salvation. Jehovahs witnesses believe a similar view to that. I believe that we are all free will moral agents. We all have the choice in front of us as to accept the free gift that Christ gave on the Cross of Calvary. If we don’t accept that gift, we will go to Hell. I believe God’s “Scales” weigh that way. I believe that the Romans Scripture that you quote to refer to the Plan of God, and not the individual person. That plan was Christ going to calvary. In verse 30 it talks about them He also calls. I believe that this refers to the scripture that says that no one can come to Christ unless the Spirit first draws them in.
In the Ephesians reference, verse 5, I believe, refers to the manner in to which we come to God…i.e…the Death of Christ. In verse 11 I believe that the inheritance is being predestinated and not the person.
Go Expositors! Bottom line, we are all accountable for our actions. We are all sinners whose righteousness is as filthy rags, and unless we put our trust in Christ and what he did at Calvary, and turn from our sin, we are not going to make it. There is no other path. No other way. No other name, for which man might be saved.
